With a holiday that screams for you to think outside the box, Halloween is the perfect time to exercise DIY skills with ease. Make sure to rent heavy equipment before October 31 to help make your house the most haunted in the neighborhood.

Decorating your home can be scary – and not in the fun, festive Halloween way. Instead of climbing a rickety old ladder, you could rent a towable boom lift and ascend the house safely with stable footing and a secure platform. We’ve got a wide variety of aerial equipment to choose from, but for this type of project we’d recommend either the Genie TZ34 boom lift or the JLG T350 boom lift.

Both aerial lifts reach up to 34 feet – the perfect height to drape a massive spider web over a tall tree or to hang orange lights over the windows and suspend ghosts from your roof. Both boom lift platforms can also carry up to 500 pounds so you can transport all of the ghoulish decorations you want (it’ll even save you from taking multiple trips).

As with all rentals, make sure to familiarize yourself with the equipment operator’s manual and take safety precautions. To help with this we have how-to videos to walk you step-by-step through aerial equipment’s basic functions. Watch them here and call us at 1-888-COMPACT with any questions.
