Every homeowner has that list of outdoor maintenance projects you complete once or twice a year at the most. Hedge trimming. Aerating. Pressure washing. Pruning. The list goes on.
This means a lot of tools, equipment and materials that you may not have readily available in your garage.
At The Home Depot® Rental, we have tools and equipment for rent so you don’t have to worry about storing or maintaining them year after year. Here are a few examples of those projects that are better done after a visit to The Home Depot Rental.
Maintaining shrubs and bushes in your yard is relatively easy if you use the right tool. We have DIY-friendly Makita hedge trimmers available for rent that have a long history of proven performance. And since you will only be trimming one or two times a year, you can rent one any time at a convenient The Home Depot® location.
If your yard dries out easily or is compacted from footsteps and pets, you need to aerate it this year. This means puncturing the soil with small holes to allow air and water to flow through the ground and roots. Luckily, there’s a piece of equipment for that.
We have a line of Toro and Classen aerators that will help you get one step closer to a beautiful lawn.
Cutting branches from large trees requires vertical assistance. And with ladders, you’re at a greater risk of falling and getting injured. A boom lift can make it significantly safer and easier for homeowners to trim tree branches. You can rent this machine using our four-hour or daily rental option.
An outdoor project like pressure washing your home’s exterior is one of those tasks that always falls to the bottom of the list, but make it a priority this year with the help of large equipment.
For this, you can also use Genie aerial equipment. Rent one of our Genie TZ34 boom lifts at your local rental center to get started. Not sure how to operate an aerial lift? Check out our how-to video for step-by-step instructions.
